Best Real Estate Investing Advice Ever

The Federal Reserve decided in December to keep its key interest rate unchanged for the third consecutive meeting. This decision came as inflation showed signs of cooling and economic conditions seemed stable overall. In addition, Federal Open Market Committee members unanimously voted to pave the way for multiple rate cuts starting in 2024 and beyond. Specifically, they projected at least three quarter-percentage point decreases in 2024, assuming the economy evolves as they expect. This rate cut forecast is not as aggressive as what some market participants had anticipated, but more aggressive than what Fed officials had previously signaled.

In this Best Ever Roundtable, our hosts — Ash Patel, Slocomb Reed, and Joe Cornwell — discuss the Fed’s December meeting and what its indications about future rate cuts could mean for investors in 2024.
